Made In The Shade

c/o Rochelle Wiscoff-Fields

She wiped away the beads of sweat from her upper lip, chin, and brow.

Thankfully, the boiler, tucking behind a cloud for an ounce of reprieve, allowed her to stick it out at least a few minutes longer. Her sister, very much a sun worshiper was baking happily beside her. She, very much a worshiper of her sister, was trying to follow suit.

That sun wasn’t going to stay hidden for long, and when it showed its UV ridden head once more, the younger sibling came up with a plan, “I heard that you can get just as good of a tan in the shade…”
