Shoulders heavy, not from the visible cargo, she walks, hands clenching tightly round fistfuls of sticks collected with painstaking care from the yard, towards the pile of debris tucked neatly beyond the tree line. Within the folds of the wood’s embrace, the mundaneness of the act and her life strikingly in contrast with the beauty that surrounds her.
Her breath catches.
Mindfulness- the more we cultivate it, the more beautiful it is. Crisp and yet so deeply moving, this piece.

Your title; be present. Such a simple act but I find it so hard to achieve

It is hard and a struggle for me all the time too. That moment was literally breathtaking in its beauty and refused to be ignored. A gift.

So perfect in its simplicity. When we remain present, this is exactly how life is viewed.

Walking into the woods with the lighting that way literally took my breath away with its beauty. I keep going back every night now just to see it again. It’s almost magical.
